in insurance quickly revealed itself to be a match made in heaven.
I started my career in retail management and even though I found it interesting and fulfilling, retail did not allow me to be available for my family on nights, weekends, and holidays.
Not one to bemoan what I was missing, I decided to take definitive action and explore an alternative career, one that would not only enable me to help people but would also allow me to have an established business schedule that would enable me to spend more time with my two children and wife.
Once the decision was made, I took the necessary steps and started the agency in 2007. It’s been everything I wanted and more.
My Anderson University degree in marketing and business administration has been valuable because it provided me with the knowledge about how to best grow the agency. It’s also provided me with a broader business perspective that has helped me to build a phenomenal team.
I give back to the community in many ways and since 2014 I have coached youth football and basketball and have also assisted with scorekeeping for youth baseball. I am also an elected official currently serving a 4-year term for the local park district, and have served as secretary, vice president and treasurer during the term.
